Sourcemaker’s products were created with the idea of making lighting balloons that are film friendly. All lighting balloons are made with an extremely durable fabric which consists of an eight way poly-weave for strength. This material is then adhered to a U.V. resistant Mylar to provide a guaranteed color consistency. All Sourcemaker balloons have internal reflectors with a U.V. inhibitor, and all materials are tested to meet fire safety requirements. Sourcemaker's inventory was designed with lanyards at key points on each envelope for flying units with helium or rigging them to fixed positions on condors, scissor lifts and studio grids. Sourcemaker has been the leader in innovation for lighting control with the cube design, color temperature control with both filter systems and exact mix theory. We also match existing industrial lighting sources with metal halide and sodium vapor. You will also find by comparing unit size and volume with our competitor's units that Sourcemaker exceeds in output, in some cases by 2 to 1, allowing clients to select the most efficient balloons.
