Powerful, wide coverage, and as soft as you like, with your choice of diffusion in two separate frames. Simple, lightweight and easy to hang. This unit replaces multiple space lights/coops. The integrated par-64 soft light gives you deep projected soft light. Daisy chained together to use only one socopex feed means less cable and less dimmers. More bang for your buck is important in the economic realities of today's production environment. The Toplight is a lightweight 6k multiple par unit that hangs horizontally with two 36"x 56" diffusion frames suspended beneath and fully enclosed with aluminized Nomex fabric. A 1' skirt is included and can be folded up or down. This modern overhead fixture out performs chicken coops or spacelights in many applications. The output is 5 times that of a spacelight at an equal height. (25' = 50fc vs 10fc) The quality of light can be customized to be much softer and the footprint is larger. This light has been used on many large features in quantity because of the tremendous savings in lighting units, electricity, dimmers, cable , air conditioning, rigging time etc. Better quality light, faster, safer and less expensively is achieved with this innovative modern overhead unit.

Integrated pipe for hanging multiple lights. The Topbox Lightweight™ is the practical "Coffin Box" solution. Designed for safety, fireproof and sturdy this unit will contain and diffuse the powerful light from inexpensive Par cans. It's a product you can feel good about rigging overhead. Topbox Lightweight: soft projected fill and contrast control is created efficiently with this unit. Measuring 40" x 60" with a 2' deep aluminized Nomex shell and a light mounting pipe spaning the box another 12" away this is the modern "Coffin Box". Designed to accept up to 10 par cans this lightweight ( 24lbs, which is less than a fome-cor and strapping box) unit collapses flat and assembles with captive speed pins in seconds. Two diffusion frames are customizable and allow for very soft light if desired. Rated hardware that includes tapped eyebolts in all 8 corners allow this unit to be rigged at virtually any angle as front, back, side or top light. In some applications they can be used as front projected fill at a 45 degree angle in the front corners with two wide pars in the bottom half and two medium pars in the upper half thus creating a very consistant and deeply projected light from upstage to downstage. Light grid in both frames makes for a nice soft quality of light. If used from above. Three par lamps (wide snubby) in each box with a 20" strip of 1/2 Blue Gel in the center gives a nice base light as day with the 2 outside lamps at full, Dusk with them at half and night is achieved by burning the center only lamp focused through the Blue gel. One Socapex feed, six inexpensive par cans and two inexpensive boxes makes a nice top base light for all three looks in a good sized standing set. Safety is improved as these boxes are built from welded aluminum and fire retardant aluminized Nomex making them much safer than hand made boxes constructed with combustible materials such as show card, fome-cor or wood in close proximity to hot lights.
